For your consideration is a truly Stunning Set, RARE circa 1873-1929Minton Gilded Hand PaintedExotic Bird Cabinet Plates.24K ornate embellishment abounds around the uniquelyhand painted center signed by Minton artist J. Cole Lough.
They look like they were created yesterday! No gold loss, no scratches,impeccable. According to the condition of these plates,it\'s hard to believe they\'re between88-144 years old!
The Mintons mark on these plates datethem from 1891-1902,however I have found that they can range to the 1930s.This plate was sold by W.H. Plummer & Co., New York City.
It measures 10 5/8\" W, and is almost 1\" H.They are quite heavy plates.Certainly a special addition to any collection or home!
