RARE Antique Mona Lisa Print Mounted On A Wood Panel Early 1900s:

Isn\'t this an exciting image of the Mona Lisa!!! I first thought her to be from the 20s-30s. But now I feel strongly she is earlier 1900 into the teens. The whole piece is mounted on a 2 part wood panel. All the detail work must be gessoed plaster work built up. She measures 13 X 8 inches. I think that for as old as she is the wear and damage is minimal. But I would be amiss if I did not point it all out.

The scratching is minimal and none to her face. To her right is one through her hair. Another to the right on her shoulder. To the left is a tiny dot imprint by her chin and another off to the side of her face above her eye. Off to the left are 2 indent scratches in the landscape. That is it for the print. The bottom of the frame center has a mark that could be a burn mark from a candle. Other than that there are no real issues. I don\'t know if I\'d trust the hanging apparatus. To actually see the above imperfections you\'d have to take her down and look at. Because of the overall darkness when hanging and viewing most of this is not noticeable unless the light is shinning on. I\'ve given you 3 options of viewing all of her straight on. As far as the print itself it is a very detailed well done print. Would make a wonderful surprise for someone this Holiday Season!!!!
