Two Art Nouveau / Jugendstil pewter items by Kayserzinn, a matching meat dish, (No. 4440), and cover, (No. 4462).Wonderful, organic, dome shaped cover, with \'skeletal\' form, stylized Rose leaves on each side, and a decorative handle. The dish similarly decorated with the addition of a whiplash swirl on the plate.These items would have been sold separately, but are listed as having been produced to go together, as shown in the catalogue, (please see last two photos), and I did not have the heart to separate them, as they have been together since circa 1902! So rare to find them still together!Both in wonderful, lightly hand polished condition, with no breaks or mends. Some normal age related, surface wear.An excellent example of German pewter, which would display well with any collection of Tudric, Osiris, Urania, Juventa, WMF, or other contemporary items retailed by Liberty & Co. at the turn of the last century.Will be carefully and lovingly packed!(Please note, this is a heavy item, and the cheapest way to send overseas to Australia, or USA, for example, would be to send as two packages I have used this method to calculate postage charges listed below).
