Very rare and hard to find dresser vanity powder box by Chase Brass & Copper Co. Signed Chase USA with the famous Chase Minotaur emblem.

The box lid is made from a stunning satin nickel plated brass. The box bottom is made from early catalin/ catalinite plastic in colorful pink. Both box and lid are in very fine condition. The catalin plastic shows no signs of UV fading and no damages at all, it is pristine. Same goes for the lid, it has little or no wear and no signs of brass rubbing. This item is not common. I only have a copy of the 1941 catalog and this item is not listed. It is likely from the 1930s.
