VERY RARE DRAGON\'S LAIR ANIMATION CELL featuring DIRK THE DARING

Up for sale is a very rare set of animation cells from the 1983 Don Bluthproduced Dragon\'s Lair arcade game featuring Dirk the Daring. The set includes two celluloids, one with Dirk the Daring ready to save Daphne, the beautiful damsel in distress, from the Dragonin its lair and a second one with gold coins flying in the air overlaid atop the first. Each cell has the scene number (013) and frame sequence numbers (19 & 19a) written between the peg holes used to hold the cells in place on an animation table. The cells measure 13.5\" x 16\" inches and are in pristine condition, having never been displayed by the current owner and were stored away in a portfolio case for the past 20+ years.
