A VERY EARLY 18TH CENTURY CARVED OVER-SIZED TAPE LOOM IN WONDERFUL ORIGINAL OLD GRUNGY AND VERY WORN ORIGINAL ATTIC SURFACE. American, CIRCA 1720-1760 IN NATIVE POPLAR.
THIS IS ONE OF THE NICEST PRIMITIVE TAPE LOOMS THAT IS GUARANTEED TO BE AMERICAN.
A VERY NICE EARLY TAPE LOOM WITH A SHAPED TOP.
THE ORIGINAL GRUNGY SURFACE IS VERY WORN AND WELL USED WITH THE BEST PATINA.
IT IS IN A WONDERFUL LARGE SIZE BEING OVER 24\" LONG
Losses as seen in the photos, there is a small section missing from the top and there is an old repaired crack (see photos).
This repair dates to the 18th century and has the best rose head nails.
