ANTIQUE 18th C HEAVY Large AMERICAN Forged Wrought IRON CHOPPER Chopping Knife . This is a wonderful and rare early American Iron Chopper. It is very heavy and weighs approx 3.2 lbs. We estimate it to be from the late 18th C or very early 19th C. We had a collection for many years and are now downsizing. It is very large and very heavy and hard to find in this early form and good condition. It measures approximately 8.5\" long and approx 8.25\" wide. A wonderful kitchen tool of an earlier time It is in very good condition overall, retaining a nicely aged surface and patina some very minor edge wear as expected as this was used.This will make an nice addition to your antique or early tool or chopper collection.
