RARE antiquenesting doll set. Circa 1900s. Only haveseen this item in a matryoshka doll book.

Manfigure box (5 1/4” tall) nests oldwooden dishes: 2 goblets (1” tall), 1 cup-likeitem (1” tall) and red bowl-like item (1” diameter).

Beautifulbright colors, patina and detail on the man.I just love his face with the sweet pink cheeks.

He hasGREAT woodburned details, typical of early nesting doll sets.

Manstands proud holding a walking cane in one hand and a green envelope/businesscase in the other!

Inside lipof bottom part of man has in written in pencil:C. PUT TICK.

Wood disheshave great patina on them as well.

There areflaws as expected with dolls of this very old age and being played with.

Crazing/chippingof paint; bottom of main doll missing wood; and, missing dishes.

But, donot take away on how wonderful it displays.Happy they have made it over a hundred years!
