WILL ROGER\'S AIRPORT. OKLAHOMA. JULY 9, 1975You are offerding on one of the two Elvis autographs that I have currently listed on . I am downsizing my Elvis collection.
This is an authentic autograph of Elvis Presley from the 70s....1975 to be precise. The autograph was signed on July 9 at Will Roger\'s airport,Oklahoma,shortly before Elvis boarded his private plane.Elvis was in Oklahoma City for a concert the previous night and wasleaving for his next show in Indiana.
It was the avionics manager, a Mr Earl Graves, that had Elvis quickly sign his business card as he was about to leave.The Aircraftsmen Inc. card measures approx 2 x 3.25 inches. The front of the card shows wear from age and previous framing,however the rear signed portion is very clean and the ink signature is bold.
It isextremelyrare to find pieces signed by Elvis during the 70s, the decaderecognizedmost for his jumpsuits.He signed considerably less than in the 50s and 60s and was muchharder to access, especially in the latter years.This was one of those rareoccasionsthat Elvis was accessible and in a good mood to sign autographs for fans.He would sadly die just two years from signing this piece.
What is more is that there are photos from this signing event! I am including four prints (3.5 x 5 inch) showing Elvissigning autographs on July 9.I am also including two 8 x 10 (approx) black and white photos of Elvis performing at the \'Oklahoma Myriad Convention Center\' theprevious evening. Elvis looks great!These would look very nicein a framed display along with the autograph.Also included is a letter from the previous ownerexplaining how it was Earl, his aunt\'s friend,who obtained the autograph and gifted it to her....who would later gift it to him.I purchased the autograph directly from the family.Please message me with any questions.
