On offer today is a very good set of 6 dessert forks in Kings pattern double struck,they have a diamond heel.Assayed in London by well regarded flatware makers John Aldwinckle and James Slater.Theyare dated 1882-year letter G. Hallmarks are deep and clear. Their length is a fraction over 7 inches. Collectively theyweigh a staggering 402 grams (12.93 troy ounces) and each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.They havegreat tines being unworn and of perfect shape. And are in truly wonderful order.They are engraved to the front KB and have plenty of life left in them yet.
Definitely no erasures either.

Afunctional late Victorian lot in this highly desirable pattern.

Terrific small forks for sure.
