Famed Irish Regiment that was at the center of the Union Line on the 3rd Day Battle of Gettysburg from Philadelphia. They held their position at The Angle and helped turn the war around. The 69th Pa was part of the famed Philadelphia Brigade. The 69th Pa also fought from the beginning of the war to Appomatox.

Here we have a very rareoriginal FIELD and STAFF Muster Roll from the 69th Pa Command dated August 1862. This Muster Roll is in great shape considering it's age. The 69th Pa Muster Rolls are very hard to come by and to own one from one of the War's Great and significant Regiments is special. This Muster is right before the Battle of Antietam. The names include: Colonel Joshua T. Owen, Lt. Col Denis O'Kane, Major John Devereaux, Adjt. Martin Tochudy, Surgeon Charles Bombagh, Asst Surgeon Bernie A McNeil, Asst Surgeon Henry Wadsworth, James Gleason, Sergeant Major John King, Serg Willam McCall, Com Sgt Hugh Logan, Chief Musician James Moran, Hosp Steward Rich Schofield. The size of the document is 21" x 31". There are typical folds and creases and some separations but this is normal. There is archieval tape that was applied by the US Government years ago. The muster roll comes in a clear rigid PVC free sleeve that will protect the document when viewing for years. It will be shipped flat. Don't pass this one up.
