We have had the opportunity to purchase this rare antique Gothic decorative lantern. Wonderful model in oak dating from the 19th century. We feel the piece was surely built for a church or cathedral over a century ago. The illumination was probably added later in its life. The piece is monumental in height at slightly over 9 feet tall. Pierced carving in the style of fenestrate is exceptional. Overall condition is very good to excellent. The decorative piece separates into 3 pieces. Top pieces rest on a small cabinet which opens as the base. DIMENSIONS: Width:21.6 Inches Height:110 Inches Depth:21.6 Inches .Base is 31 high.
