Rare and Fresh to the Market - Solid Silver Masonic Snuff Box By Matthew Linwood 1809. Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1809, George III Duty Mark in both interior lid and base.

Of curved oblong form with engraved Masonic symbols on hinged cover and throughout the three sides. Measures approx 4.5cm x 2.5cm.

Overall in very good condition with expected wear but no repairs splits or dents.

PROVENANCE - From the collection of the late Mr Albert Edward Collins Nice, died in 1969 and the lots were kept locked away for almost 50 years.

Engravings on the hinged cover are in excellent condition; there is some age related wear to the base. There are no dents or damage to the the sides, cover or corners. .
