RARE GEORGIAN ALL STERLING SILVER SCISSORS LARGE 6.75 INCHES ANTIQUE 1810 SEWING:

Rare Georgian sterling silver scissors. They are hallmarked for London 1810 with the makers marks being those of William Ely, William Fern and William Chawner. The have a simple yet elegant design and some signs of gilding so I suspect they were once completely gilded. They are in super condition condition being free from dingssplits and repairs - just a slight mark on the cutting section - see photo. They are reasonably firm and still cut paper. They measure 6.75 inches (17.3cms) long by almost 2.25inches wide across their handles and weigh 58 grams. Rare early examples.
