RARE! GEORGIAN SILVER & ROSE CUT DIAMOND FLORAL SPRAY BROOCH - ANTIQUE c. 1820A stunning and rare spray brooch with floral and foliate leaf details. Set with 34 rose cut diamonds - no replacement stones - this is a remarkable find. In incredible condition considering it\'s around 200 years old. All stones are set in silver, though there is evidence of gold wash to the back. A piece of history.Cut - Rose cuts.Clarity - SI to I. The biggest rose cut has what looks like a crack, though this is not surface reaching and does not effect the integrity of the brooch.Carat - It\'s extremely difficult to gauge rose cuts, but we conservatively estimate there to be 2.50 carats.Circa - 1820.Condition - Evidence of a repair to the back, visible in the photos. In general, this is an extremely robust piece.Measurements - 42mm by 30mm.Weight - 9.9 gramsMetal - Tests as silver, with evidence of gold wash to the reverse.******121S049MCL
