This is a rare German stoneware vase with a Bauhaus inspired abstract linear design by the firm Velten-Vordamm, circa 1928. Theodor Bogler who directed the Bauhaus ceramics program left the school in 1927 to become artistic director of Velten-Vordamm in 1927. This vase was designed and executed by Louise Harkort in 1928 under Bogler\'s direction. This stoneware vase is 7 1/2\" high by 3\" wide and in excellent condition. Signed with the blue ink stamp as well as the artist cypher plus F.250 for the design which also dates the piece to 1928. Selling without reserve, international buyers welcome.
