This is a beautiful pair of American cast brass single candle Girandole Candlesticks circa 1850‘s. It is a decorative cast brass in the Rococo Revival style. Sets like this can be seen in Nineteenth Century Lighting, by H. Parrott Bacot. The base is decorated with a reclining lady with a basket of fruit. She seems to be eating some as well. The body is in excellent condition with no damage. The single candelabra with acanthus leaf edges on drip cups. Beautiful natural patina on the brass body and base. The candelabras are adorned with a partial compliment of crystal prisms, with one missing, which may have several small nicks from normal use, however, these prisms are readily available and can be easily replaced. You will need 1 more prism for one of the candelabra. These Girandoles Measure 12 inches tall. The base is 3-1/2 inches deep and 5-1/2 inches wide. Insurance is included in the shipping.
