THIS LOT IS FOR A BEAUTIFUL HAND WROUGHT GORHAM AESTHETIC STERLING HAMBURG PATTERN WATER PITCHER MADE AROUND 1885 AND RETAILED BY DUHME & CO IN CINCINNATI, OH . THIS IS A VERY RARE AND DESIRABLE WATER PITCHER WITH A BEAUTIFUL HAND CHASED AND HAMMERED ANCIENT RUINS LOOK INCLUDING 3 INLAID MEDALLIONS AND OTHER AESTHETIC DESIGN. I THINK THEY DESIGNED THESE PIECES TO LOOK AS IF THEY WERE DUG ANTIQUITIES. THIS PITCHER IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH A GREAT PATINA. IT WEIGHS 36 TROY OUNCES, MEASURES 10 1/4\" TALL AND HAS BEEN MONOGRAMED ON THE BOTTOM \"WHG.\" THIS PIECE HAS THE DUHME & CO MARK, BUT NO GORHAM MARKS.
