This is a stunning and rare vintage “frosted blonde,” tan-tone, sidepart American Girl Barbie dressed in an original vintage swimsuit and turquoise open-toed shoes. The headband is a reproduction.

Her face and body coloring match beautifully. She has no neck splits and has no green anywhere. She has one pinprick in each ear that does not go all the way through. Her all-original facepaint is gorgeous with vivid colors—no retouches, no fades, and no rubs.

She has the very rare frosted blonde hair coloring that is usually found on the pink-skin dolls. Her thick, full hair is beautifully set with a tight factory thatch part and beautiful original curls. Her hair has never been cut and there are no missing plugs.

Her body is very nice, showing only slight vintage age and gentle play. She is on the correct Japan, bend-leg, tan-tone body. It is clean with even coloring that matches her head. The arms are tight and hold a pose. All her fingers have the original polish. The legs are tight at the hip and not swingy. Both knees bend, click, and hold. There are no bites, pricks, or chews on her legs or feet.
