The pattern is Hourglass and it is double struck. It has an union heel.

Itis unengraved to both sides and always has been,definitely no erasures either.

Here we have aquite exceptionaland quite lovelysilver large stilton scoop of very good gauge and weight.Hallmarksarevery goodindeed.

Thislovely itemisjust over 8.5 inches in length.

Assayed in London,1818-yearletter c.

Makers are the premier silversmiths William Eley and William Fearn
