Rare vintage John Coochyumptewa Native American Hopi Indian circular sterling silver pill or snuff box. Very decorative little box with carved lid showing an abstract form Indian in headdress. The box measures 1 7/8\" diameter across the lid x 1/2\" height and weighs 38 grams. It is in excellent condition with no dings or dents and only modest wear. The edges of the lid are not threaded but when placed on the base and rotated slightly it will tighten up and stay securely in place. The base is stamped sterling along with Coochyumptewa Tobacco leaf maker\'s mark and the Hopi Silver Guild sun god mark. Great collectible. Starts low with .
