If you have the set of Jeannette square 48oz Jadeite canisters, you won\'t want to miss this piece. It goes with them and is very hard to find. Not very many out there. I have researched the lid and believe it to be the original but not fully for certain. You do your own research and decide for yourself.. This piece is not perfect however, it has a small chip on the front rim and one on the left side rim as seen in the second picture.It does not retract from this piece as far as its age goes. I think it is from the 30\'s possibly. You be the judge. Please ask all questions pryor to offerding. I have double boxed this item due to its weight and rarity.
