offered for sale is thissuper and extremely rareexample ofan art nouveau pewter spoon, made during the secessionist jugenstil period of the early 1900\'s and easily recognisable as coming from the portfolio of designs by archibald knox,these designs formed the basis for the tudric & cymric ranges of art nouveau pewter & silver ware retailed by liberty & co,itis in a gently polished condition and as a result it has a mirror like finish as it had when first made over 100 years ago with absolutely no loss to the wonderful knox design to the bowl and handle,the spoon measures4.5\" long so tea spoon size,there are some very minor surface scratches from use but certainly nothing that detracts from this lovely piece,it is unmarked as were all the tudric spoons,this design was also made in silver as part of the cymric range and thispiece iscirca 1903/4,overall condition should be considered as excellent.it is well over100 years oldand may have minor signs of age & use.
