RARE & LOVELY Antique 19thC Italian Laces Coverlet Bedspread 72x130 Tablecloth:

Large and incredibly beautiful antique 19th century lace coverlet, with a fabulous mix of Italian needle and bobbin laces. This could easily grace a table as well, or make a huge and amazing wall hanging. Simply aspectacular display piece.
It measures about 72 x 130 inches. Color is ecru. Scalloped lace at the head and foot, geometric reticella along the sides.
Condition is not perfect. Not washed, a few discolorations. There are some breaks in the lace, some old repairs (last photo for one, a couple more like it), and a number of detached connectors across the piece. One area in particular has many (see 2nd last photo). I stabilized that area a bit - not repairs by any stretch, just a few stitches so the coverlet could be gently handled without further damage.There is no dry rot, but the piece is somewhat fragile in places. It needs tender handling, and loving care.
But you\'ll forgive a few flaws and some effort on this rare and exquisite piece. Huge, dramatic and gorgeous!
