**RARE** Breathtakingly Beautiful Limoges DuBarry Perfume Egg Trinket Box
It is called the ** Faberge Egg Box by DuBarry Porcelain France **
The box is signed and is a limited edition of only 500 worldwide!
The Egg is made in 3 parts: The base is seated in an elaborate metal frame with exquisitely wrought acanthus leaf legs, inside the base is a porcelain holder with a beaded rim that holds a glass perfume bottle with metal cap.
The other 2 sections of the egg are separately hingedto the base and open outwardly allowing the perfume bottle to be seen.
The inside is washed in gold paint that reflects the lightbeautifully.
The outside of the box isgreen with rosettes and leaves of cranberrytouched withgold, an overlay of gold lines adore the egg.
Inset to each rosette is a faceted ruby stone.
A blue narrow band of colour sets of the emerald and cranberry coloring perfectly.
The three clasps are rosettes and from the crown claps hangs a silk tassel.
It is in wonderful vintage used condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs that I can see.It is not in perfect condition, but really nice condition.The clasps are in good condition and close, but the top one can be a little finickysometimes. Please look at the pictures.
