ITEM: You are offerding on an antique original early 1920's framed grouping of three Maxfield Parrish art prints in triptych form in the original ornate oval crested gesso'ed frame. The images consist of Wild Geese in the center flanked with Stars and Evening on the sides.This is an original and very rare grouping - House of Art and Reinthal & Newman publication imprints. Overall 16 1/2" x 26 1/2 center panel is 11 1/2" by 13 1/2" and smaller side prints have a window size of 6" by 10"
CONDITION: This antique framed original triptych presentation grouping of Maxfield Parrish prints is in very good condition but not better. The Evening prints appears to be somewhat faded - while the other two look great. The frame too is in good condition but exhibits overall paint losses and apparent touch up and wear throughout, the center top crest medallion is complete.
