Ultra Rare Illuminated Medieval Double Vellum Brevarium / Book of Hours. Most likely written in France Late 13th century (circa 1280). This item does show some aging and staining, but still bright and vibrant colors. Manuscript in Gothic-Batarde, classic style. Text manuscript in two columns of 27 lines each of red ruled writing with blue and red ink. Manuscript is 6\" x 8\" in size, actual writing column is 3 1/2\" X 2 1/2\". I took most pictures with flash, hence the light in the pictures (manuscript was kept in protective sleeve) , first picture is the true color (out of the sleeve). Condition is as pictured, overall a very nice piece when you take into consideration that it\'s over 700 years old. 100% Original. There seems to be two perfectly small holes on the top of manuscript. Would be a beautiful display case item. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
