I\'m weeding out a lot of items in the house because we are starting to downsize and will be moving in the next 2 years or so and there is a ton of stuff that will have to go. I\'m cleaning out all the kitchen cupboards, closets, dresser drawers, book shelf, storage cabinets, 3 car garage, pole barn, and the list goes on. ANTIQUE MEISSEN CUP & SAUCER SET HAND PAINTED

Rare Meissen18th century porcelain pedestal cup and saucer set. Meissen was the very first porcelain European Co to produce beautiful cabinet ware sets as early as the 1700s. The cup has been hand painted in a harbor scene with lots of hand gilding gold ornamentation to the cup and saucerto enhance the fine porcelain.This beautiful cup ismarked with the Meissen blue cross swords under the glaze. The cup measures approx. 3 1/2\" tall and 3 1/4\"wide at the top, the saucer measures approx. 5 1/2\" diameter.The saucer has written on the undersidevery faint \"From Germany about 1800\" and ithas a small amount ofware to the gold gilding do to it\'s vintage age but most is intact.Both pieces are in great condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs do to being in a china cabinet for manyyears.
