This is an extremely rare and coveted lamp!
Bruce Industries was a lighting company based in Philadelphia Pennsylvania
through the mid century period. They specialized in wood lamps, Danish Modern styles
and had a unique relationship with freelance designers. They were never
as popular as Laurel, Stiffel or other high end light manufacturers,
but they had a big following in the region and some spectacular
designs emerged from their workshop! Here is an amazing lamp made of wood throughout. An enameled wood base
and carved wood balls create a wonderful geometric design
that grabs and holds the eye. It\'s a fun lamp and one smiles just
looking at it - it seems to have that fifties optimism built into the design! It is in great condition! Light wear to enamel and wood.
A real mid century color feast for the eyes!A magnificent addition to a Hong Kong penthouse,
Case Study home or Palm Springs atomic modern interior! M A G N I F I C E N T I L L U M I N A T I O N F O R Y O U R E X Q U I S I T E I N T E R I O R S text, images and descriptions Copyright GALLERY 20TH. 2015. All Rights Reserved.
