FIRST, THE ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is the rarest configuration of a celluloid Mickey Mouse in a tin cart pulled by a celluloid Pluto. There are a number of differences. Most striking to me is the combination of white gloves & white shoes. The Mickey is attached to the cart in a unique way. There is a metal wire hooked at 1 end that goes thru his bottom, comes out the other side & then loops down to attach to the mechanism. When the toy is wound Mickey\'s upper body moves forward then back. Mickey is also a unique size. If he could stand up he would be 5\" or 5 1/4\" tall. I do not believe this Mickey was used on any other toy. The Pluto is 4\" long. Overall length of the toy is 8 1/4\". Condition of everything is outstanding. The celluloid figures are nearly flawless. The mechanism works well. The tin cart has minor wear on the wheels & a bit of green paint loss on the back edge of cart. Made in Japan in the 1930s.
