Rare Near Mint Japanese Disney Mickey Mouse Articulated Composition Doll Figure
Near mint,gorgeous and rare, this wooden doll is one of only a very few that I have seen in over thirty years of collecting. Doll is used similar to a yo-yo. Metal loop is placed over finger and as you move your hand up and down, Mickey moves. It will definately be an excellent addition to any Disney or Mickey Mouse display or collection. Noted Disney experts and saleeers, Hakes Americana, describe the doll as follows:
7\" tall w/painted composition body and coil spring arms, legs and tail, separate composition hands and feet. Attached string w/metal finger loop at top of head. Unmarked, but made in Japan, 1930s. Scattered lt. trace of aging but VF overall and about as nice as these particular figures are found. Scarce.
