RARE ORIGINAL 1937 PRODUCTION CEL from \'SNOW WHITE\' WALT DISNEY CERT. LABEL
Presented is an original painting on celluloid used in the production of Walt Disney\'s \'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.\' This piece dates to around 1937, as this is the date of the release of the movie. This animation cel depicts a spider and three squirrels. The painting is in a frame, behind glass, and has stood the test of time remarkably well. This is quite a rare item, as only a limited number of such frames were made available, so this is a fantastic opportunity for any Disney collector.
The back of the frame has sticker with the retailer\'s name, Kennedy & Co Rare Prints. The sticker reads \'Original drawing used in the Walt Disney production of Snow White.\' Kennedy & Co prints are numbered on the sticker, and this print\'s number is 34696. On the cel itself, inside the frame, is a sticker certifying that this is an original painting actually used in the animation of the Snow White movie.
This piece is in great condition, especially for a piece of such a delicate nature. The slight rippling to the cel is not damage, this is typical of such pieces. The cel has no losses to its paint, no discoloration, no problems whatsoever. The frame is in good shape as well, no breaks, with a good strong wire for hanging.
The piece has approximate dimensions of 15 5/8 x 14 5/8 inches.
