Sterling Silver (.925) Multi-Color Mosaic Inlay

A Stunning and RARE Old VintageZuni Mosaic Inlay THUNDERBIRD Ring masterfully handcrafted from sterling silver (.925) and featuring an Outstanding Large Thunderbird Design with a Gorgeous Collection ofMulti-Color Mosaic Inlay! This Ring was created and hallmarked by Louise and Lincoln (sometimes spelled Linchen Sr.) SHETIMA. Jewelry made by this husband and wife team of artists from the 1960\'s and 70\'s is a RARE find! Reference material is scarce on this artist duo, but they have a son named Gabriel Shetima and a daughter Claudia Martza. The large Vintage Thunderbird design exhibited here is quitedistinctive. Ring featuresbeautifully aged Turquoise, Coral, Jet, as well as High Quality iridescent Mother-of-Pearl. The Mother-of-Pearl on the upside down triangle that serves as the breast of this Beautiful Thunderbird, gives of Stunningpink and green overtones that dance in the light. All stones are flawlessly cut and perfectly inlaid in flush set stone-to-stone and channel inlay patterns, with a smooth polished surface. The Thunderbird\'s Wings are accented with twisted silver rope across the top arch, and two (2) small fluted buttons at Center.

Large Ring Face measures 1-3/8\" tall with a 1-1/4\" wide Wing Span with a solid silver backing, and supported by continuous 1/8\" wide Ring Band with a thinly grooved border design. The back of the Ring is hallmarked by this talented Zuni artist couple \"L. L. SHETIMA\" over \"ZUNI\". Ring weighs 7.2 grams and is size 7.5. All stones are original and in Excellent condition with Beautiful Vintage qualities. Ring has a warm pleasing Vintage silver patina. Outstanding Vintage Zuni Craftsmanship!
