Lovely old pair of Old Paris Porcelain cornicopia horn of plenty shaped hand painted roses cabinet spill vases with applied encrusted flowers, no makers mark as old paris porcelain has no backstamp please read below.They stand 18 cm tall and in remarkable condition for vases over 200 years old, with no crazing due to being produced by the blue white soft paste porcelain.There is wear to the gilt which would be expected on porcelain this old, and one flower has damage to petals see last photo..Old Paris Porcelain, or as the French say, Vieux Paris Porcelain, refers not to a single manufacturer, but to more than thirty porcelain sources based within the City of Paris between the mid 1700\'s until around 1870, the end of the Second Empire. The term was not actually used until the latter part of that period.The various Paris artisans, mostly situated in the northeast side of Paris, honed their skills in a hurry or went out of business.
