Description

This is an attractive and rare Georgian early nineteenth century pearlware bowl.

Basket design.

Bluish glaze is visble under the footrim on the bowl.

Dates from around 1820.

Not marked. It is reminiscient of Fell of Newcastle upon Tyne, but may have been made at one of the Staffordshire factories.

CONDITION

The bowl is cracked in four places and has a number of restored chips on the top rim.
