You are offerding on a pair (2 caps) of the Kansas City ROYALS baseball caps or hats of rare vintage or antique desirability. We have specifically noted that they appear to be quite rare, as you will not find any other caps like them or closely resembling them on , even in the closed and completed sales. We believe they are from the George Brett or earlier era. These are very nice original pre-owned baseball caps that have been stored in a drawer of our air conditioned Florida home for perhaps more than twenty years. As such, they may requre cleaning to the most discriminating purchaser. Our photos indeed show the actual caps that you will receive. You be the judge as to their condition.
As Kansas City fans celebrate the rise of the team to 2014 World Series contenders, we are offering them to the serious and most dedicated of Royals fan.
Both caps have unique KC logos which are heavily embroidered (see all photos). The white colored cap was manufactured and distributed by "The Game", who are known throughout the world as a premier line baseball cap maker. The blue cap with the grey or tan visor was manufactured by Eds West and distributed by Signatures. Both of these caps are of the snapback adjustable variety, both have been in a hat collection, and have been previously worn. Slight discoloration may be detected by the most discriminating buyer, in the area where the visor meets the body of the cap. It does not deter greatly from the overall handsome appearance of these items, and in all probability will wash or dry clean out. (see photo) We believe them to be made from 100% Cotton and they have a heavy canvas feel and look to them. As you can see, they are very unique and very sharp looking caps (again, see photos). These caps, for certain the white one, have been licensed by Major League Baseball and have been manufactured to team specifications by the manufacturer.
