This stunning, prehistoric Inuit/Eskimo knife handle was crafted by the Inuit Culture during the Thule Period at least 300 years ago!

It was found in what is now the great State of Alaska and is guaranteed authentic and original.

It is in \"as found\" condition and was reportedly found in Alaska and in a private collection in the United States for many years.

ThisAncient Eskimo (Yupik) Bone Knifehandle was discovered in Alaska on private land. The curved, bone knife handle isengraved in scrimshaw with a repeating pattern that winds its way around the knife’s surfaceand may have been meant to symbolize the Sun’s rays rising above the horizonover water.

Itmeasures about 4.75” in length and dates to about the Thule Period, 1200 AD to1700 AD, which makes it a 300 to 500 years-old tool that is in museum qualitycondition.

Itmay have been used as a small, hand-held knife for cutting meat or perhaps asan engraving tool to create other pieces of engraved artwork.
