CASE.The Silver outer Repousse relief case with a very nice traditional scene a perfect fit. and is in amazing condition with a lot of high relief The size of the case is 51m.m. edge to edge.The weight of the watch is 103 grams a massive weight for a pocket watch.The measurement of the case with the watch is 42 m.m. in very nice condition. repair to stem. well hall marked for London 1763. please note outer Repousse cases were never hallmarked. All the hinges and clips work well on the cases. DIAL.The white enamel dial is in very nice clean condition. save for slight chip at the 6 were you have the catch to lift the face out to see the movement. Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic divisions for the minutes. HANDS. very fine black hands. GLASS.The glass is very high domed bull nose clean and clear. MOVEMENT. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop and is currently running well and it runs to the full length of the chain. With a very ornately engraved and pierced broad balance cock with a ruby end stone, Square pillars, a silver Tompion regulator. Signed on the back plate Jn Bridges London, The watch has a very strong tick and just been serviced verge time aprox 3 minuets per hour, now that must be good for a watch over 250 years old. This watch is so very well priced, and well presented. An absolute must for any serious collector or would make a wonderful present.
