The \"Sharknose\" may be the single most adored car in the history

of Formula One. The shape is pure Ecstasy: curvaceous, purposeful,

compact, and just plain beautiful. The purity of the design can be

appreciated by anybody who loves to drive: light weight, nimble,

and powerful, it\'s 1.5-liter V6 putting out a potent 190bhp.

For many, the Tipo 156 F1 also stands apart from the other

World Champions, having been the car to power Phil Hill to become

World Champion in 1961, the first time an American ever claimed

that title!

The Ultimate Challenge

Because the Scuderia famously discarded and often destroyed old race

cars, Exoto faced a unique challenge in capturing the Tipo 156 F1 --

there are none left to measure and photograph! As a result, the most

intensive research was undertaken to discover the most minute details.

The result is unquestionably the most intricate and accurate 156 F1

replica ever made, and exposes some shameful flaws found in other

companies\' attempts to recreate this fabulous monoposto!
