Being offered for offer is a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind Glorie de Dijon pitcher and bowl chamber set.The flowers are roses.
The pitcher is very large and in beautiful condition with 95% intact gold filagree - 11 3/4\" tall.There are no cracks, crazing, hairlines, chips, restoration or discoloration.The basin is 16 3/4\" x 13 3/4\" square in equally beautiful condition with 85% intact goldfilagree. Some use is slight in bottom where the pitcher would set in usebut not remarkable nor does it detract from the color which is clear and virtually perfect.Handle is perfect. The deep dark blue against the clearest of white makes this set strikingly wonderful. Both pieces are perfect in every way and must beseen to appreciate. As I stated before all of these items have no cracks, crazing, hairlines,chips, restoration or discoloration. This set came from Burslem, England, circa 1893-1897.It has been cared for as its\' condition attests to. A truly wonderful find for anyone whoappreciates flow blue and Royal Doulton products in particular.I will gladly answer all questions if I have left any pertinent information out or photos asrequired.
