Large character jug Welsh Guardsman. This prototype jug has the Welsh Guards leek badge on the collar and shoulderepaulettes. The plume on the bearskin is modelled differently to depict the white-green-white sectioned plume of the Welsh Guards uniform as opposed to the single white plume on the regular production jug. The draped handle bears the blue and claret colours of the Brigade of Guards. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or restoration. Prototype backstamp as shown in photo.
