ABeautifulNear Antique Fine China Tray from the Shakespearean Character Collection. Beautiful Old Depiction of Romeo in Vibrant Colors in the Old World Style. The dimensions are approximately 6 1/2\" X 8\" and the heighth is 1 inch. There is some crazing (which gives this item character and is to be expected on a tray this old), and a miniscule chip on 1 corner (see picture #8 above). One of our local saleeers calls this type of tiny chip a \"chigger bite.\"Catalog number for Royal Doulton for this item is D3596. I found an old 1984 Kovels\' catalog for Royal Doulton specific pieces and these Shakespearean Character items were priced from $55 to $80 28 years ago.An Excellentaddition to any collection or thisRectangular Traywill make a wonderful Christmas gift.
