On offer is this rare, mint condition figurine by Royal Doulton of \'Tom Bombadil\' HN2924 - issued as part of the Middle Earth (Lord of the Rings) series in the 1980s.The Middle Earth series was issued by Royal Doulton in the early 80\'s based on the writings of JRR Tolkien (The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Triology of books written in 1930s/40s).The popularity of this series was revived with the movies of the late 1990s/2000s - bring these characters to life for another generation.Tom Bombadil stands ~11.4cm tall, and the base measures 5cm x 5.75cm. He is a mysterious character who aids Frodo and his companions along their journey.A great piece of Royal Doulton which is relatively rare and perfect for the Lord of the Rings collector or Doulton figurine collector.Please note that I am listing several otherfigurines from the Middle Earth collection separately.
