Stunning Collectors SeikoSKX031 \'J-Japanese Spec\'A simply stunning watch in outstanding refurbished \'as new\' condition.
The SKX031 is Seiko\'s \'Homage\'tribute to the Rolex Submariner.A 40mm \'mid-sized\'watch introduced in around 1996, itwears slightly smaller than it\'s larger 007 stable mate, yet doesn\'t look small even on my seven and a half inch wrists.
This particular watch isthe verymuch sought after rare\'J\' Spec, which has the additional \'21Jewels\' text under the \'water10BARresist\' text on the dial. These are praised by collectors as being of a better quality to the \'K\' rest of world spec variety and are a lot rarer- the truth of this is hotly debated. Not only this, but the \'J\' version had a much sorter production run ,meaning this watch is a lot rarer than the already rare \'K\' sibling.
Thisparticular watch has been fully stripped, serviced and refurbished. The case hasbeen professionally refinished and looks fantastic in an \'as new\' condition. Once everything has been checked and checked again, it\'s then been reassembled withevery sealreplacedand pressure tested to ensure its capable of doing the job for which it was designed.Its then finally finished off with the addition of abrand new Seiko Z22 rubber strap, before beingregulated on a vibrograph for accuracy.It\'s a very good addition to any collection and an absolutely stunning watch to look at. This is as close to a NOS watch you will find anywhere and offers you Rolex looks for a fraction of the Rolex price.This is a sizeable watch with a good weight and presence on the wrist,that looks at home with both smart and casual attire. A lovely addition to any Seiko collection and a very rare piece in this condition.
