This is a hard to find signed bowl made by the Pacific Clay Manufacturing Company.
The potter was located in Los Angeles and operated from 1880 to 1930 when they closed.
The bowl is an attractive mustard color with “pepper” specks in the clay. The bowl measures 10” in width by 4.5” in height and is in excellent condition with only a few bubbles inside the bowl & some chips at rim on base. The base is stamped “PACIFIC” in an elongated diamond.
