RARE Stevens & Williams Hand Blown Pink Vaseline Victorian Art Glass Dish:

You are looking at a gorgeous Victorian Hand Blown Opalescent Pink and Vaseline art glass dish or candle holder with finger loop. The base is made from a clear Vaseline applied glass. The finger loop is made from clear applied glass. The dish area is a clear pink moving up to an opalescent pink.The underside of thepink is a pinkish white.The edges are sort of \"folded\" rather than ruffled or crimped. Please see the pictures to get a better understanding of what I\'m trying to describe. This is truly a unique piece. I am not a glass expert therefore I do not know the maker of this piece. Based onmy research this may be a piece made bythe Stevens & Williams company in Englandin the early 1900s or late 1800s.

The pontil mark is clearly visible at the base of the dish. You can also feel where it was cut off on the finger loop. The clear base glows Vaseline green when under the black light.

I am not a glass expert therefore I do not know the maker or year of this piece.

The glassis very delicate. There are a few dirt marks in the crease areas.

This piece is in excellent condition with NO scratches, cracks or chips.

It measures approximately 5 inches at the widest area and 3 inches at the base. It stands just under 3 inches.
