For Your Consideration is an Antique Turn of the Century Horsehair Ladies Wig
Incredibly rare and hard to find let alone being in such great condition. I believe this wig to be made of horsehair. Dating to the Turn of the Century Connecticut New England USA. Was once part of the wardrobe of a theater actress from Hartford. Her name was Nena Fales Peck. Included is a picture of her wearing the wig for a performance. Interior is a mix of net, light boning felt under the lace tape near hairline front. There is a woven extension ringlet that is added to the wig once in place on the head. In beautiful condition with no rips, tears, holes, shedding etc......will only need very minor restyling.
