Most rare old lock having 4 + 1 key to open. This unusual lock with five keys is rarest to find.

I have never seen or heard of such locks having multiple keys. I bought from antique dealer and as per him such locks were used by royal family (king), this lock must have been used at trunk / safe where most important documents etc. were being kept.

It is a very tricky lock and to open this lock, steps as below:

1st.: Take biggest key, hidden key is at top circle of key (see picture to open)

2nd.:Use same biggest key and put at bottom key hole and turn left (upper portion will slide down and front and side key holes can be seen now (see in picture)

3rd.:Use key no.2 , put in key hole and turn right (leave it there)

4th.:Put smallest key in key hole (above key no. 2 hole ) and turn right (leave it there)

5th.:Put last key in key hole at side, and turn right then pull top of lock and lock will open.

To lock, do the reverse.

This is a very very rare lock and is museum piece.

Patina is black and at some place pure gold or golden color (not sure) can be see. see pictures.
