This is a gorgeous vintage fine china porcelain hand painted dessert tea set for 6 made by Volkstedt porcelainmanufactoryin Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany, ca. 1950.Thisexquisite ruby red porcelain setis hand made, hand painted, and heavily gilded with 24K gold. Each piece of this stunning set has scalloped edge, decorated withscenes of antiquity, allegorical, romantic, and Victorian scenes after Angelika Kauffman,unsigned. Marked Volkstedt. The setconsists of:

6Footed Tea/Coffee Cups - 3¾\" diameter (4¾\" with handle), 2¼\" tall
6Tea/Coffee Saucers - 5¾\" diameter
11DessertPlates - 7½\" diameter
2Footed Tea/Coffee Pots with 2Lids - 6 ½\" diameter at the widest point (10¼\"from spout to handle), 5¼\" tall (8¼\" tall with lid)
2 Footed Creamers - 3½\"diameter at the widest point (5\" from spout to handle), 4\" tall
2Footed Sugar Bowls with 2 lids - 4½\"at the widest point, 6½\" with handles, 3½\" tall (6\" tall with lid)
2Cake Platters - 10½\" diameter, 1⅛\" tall

The set is inexcellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, and minimal if any gold loss!

Total is 35 pieces.The set will be double-boxed and well packed in 2 or 3 boxes for safety reason.

Shipping

Shipping will be with USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days estimated delivery) or UPS Ground (5-6 days). I ship items within 1 business day after receiving cleared payment, excluding weekends and Holidays. You will be notified with tracking number for your shipment.

All of my items are packaged extremely well, carefully wrapped and padded to avoid damage during transit. I pack with tick bubble wrap, peanuts, foam sheets, and sturdy boxes. Shipping cost is calculated based on weight and distance. Insurance is included in the shipping cost.

Please I am always happy to provide combined shipping on multiple items whenever it is possible and safe to do so (sometimes due to size and weight it is not possible to combine items in one box). Must be paid for with ONE combined payment to receive combined shipping. If you purchase multiple items, please be sure to contact me, requesting a combined shipping invoice BEFORE you pay for your items, so that a shipping discount can be calculated, and I can adjust your multiple purchase shipping charges accordingly.

I reserve the right to ship package with whichever carrier I see fit for the purchase. Even if you pay for Priority Mail with USPS, I may decide to ship with UPS. I reserve the right to ship multiple sales won in one big box. Please be aware of this before offerding!

Please inquire for Alaska, Puerto-Rico, Hawaii and PO BOX shipping rates as they may be higher.

Payment

I accept payments via PayPal which allows you to use all major Credit Cards and Bank Cards. Please note that PayPal e-checks take several days to clear. Keep in mind if paying with e-check, your item(s) will not be shipped until the check has cleared. Please be sure to provide a confirmed PayPal address! Michigan residents must pay 6% sales tax.

I would like item to be paid for within 7 days of the end of sale. Buy-it-Now sales require immediate payment. I also would like the buyer to establish communication within 3 days after the end if not paid instantly with PayPal. Otherwise the item will be relisted and will be advised of Non Payment.

International Buyers please contact me first for shipping rates before offerding. Payment must be from verified PayPal account in US funds. I will only ship Priority International.
