DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:
Finest Hour Vintage is pleased to offer this rare, vintage 1930\'s, BCP/B&Co (Burkard & Cie Pforzhem / Helma-Uhrenfabrik Linde & Co) German true drivers watch. What I mean by a \"true\" divers watch is that the watch not only has movable lugs but the contour on the case back to fit the SIDE of the wrist correctly - much the same as the famous Gruen Falcon Drivers watch. It can also be worn on the top of the wrist. The body of the watch itself (without the lugs) is 22mm x 22mm. The length from the top of he lugs is 51mm (this is by no means a large watch). The watch has a chromium plated top and a stainless steel case back. It\'s design is simple, functional and elegant. The movement has been fully overhauled and a mineral glass crystal has been hand cut and installed. Though you can not see it, there are two solid wires which run across the lugs - allowing for sizing to the wrist. The watch strap must, however, be an open ended type as there are no spring bars. Attached is a new strap. The watch comes with a one year warranty of accurate timekeeping.
